Stephanie is a Human Resources and Risk Management consultant with 25+ years of experience in all phases of Human Resources and Risk Management with actual hands-on capability. Stephanie established SLM Solutions, LLC (www.slmsolutions.org) after serving for seven years as Vice President of Human Resources and Risk Management of a premier commercial printing company. Before that, she spent 19 years in the wholesale beverage and retail industry specializing in safety and risk/legal/claims management.
She specializes in establishing the structure, policies, procedures and HR function in start-ups and existing companies needing an HR and risk management presence. Her services include employee relations, management and supervisory coaching, employee handbooks, benefits procurement and administration, workplace investigations, legal and regulatory compliance,
sexual harassment training for supervisors, contract review and other risk management functions including purchasing all lines of corporate insurance. She is available for ongoing on and off-site retained service or projects.
After attending the University of California at Fullerton, she earned a Bachelors of Science degree and Juris Doctor degree at Western State University, Fullerton in 1994. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Fullerton Chamber of Commerce, BNI and is a Board member and President of Human Resources Independent Consultants (HRIC).
