Membership Rules, Mission Statement and Code of Ethics

Member Definition

An individual who is self-employed in the HR field, or is currently employed (in the HR industry) and contemplating self-employment, will be considered a member.

HRIC Mission Statement

HRIC is a community of independent consultants specializing in the field of human resources. We provide networking opportunities to enable relationship building, information sharing and collaboration among members for the benefit of our clients and one another.

HRIC Code of Ethics

The HRIC Code of Ethics was adopted to promote and maintain the highest standards of personal conduct and professional standards among our members. Adherence to HRIC’s Code is a requirement for membership and is strictly enforced. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES IS GROUNDS FOR EXPULSION.

HRIC MEMBERS PLEDGE TO:

  • Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and integrity, so that all actions reflect favorably upon our association.
  • Maintain confidentiality when accessing job leads from the Jobs Board.

JOB LEADS ARE FOR MEMBERS ONLY AND MAY NOT BE SHARED WITH NON-MEMBERS, AGENCIES, OR VENDORS.

  • Hold all “client-sensitive information” confidential, whether informed officially or exposed to the information through work relationships.
  • Maintain loyalty to clients and pursue their objectives in ways consistent with both the Company and public interest.
  • Uphold all laws and regulations relating to client activity.
  • Support HRIC goals and objectives for enhancing and developing the human resources consulting profession.
  • Strive for personal growth within the human resources consulting field.
